Something is fishy in the southeastern part of our state.
A Wisconsin fish dealer is looking at a 13 thousand-dollar fine for selling illegal fish. The state’s Department of Natural Resources says Ping Li was found guilty of illegally selling invasive carp. Wisconsin doesn’t allow live bighead, grass, or silver carp in the state. Li was convicted of selling all three fish.
DNR fears what the carp could do to the state’s lakes, and the Great Lakes if they get into the wild.
