A man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of a Rusk County deputy. Doug Nitek appeared in court yesterday to learn his fate in the 2016 shooting of Dan Glaze.
After his sentencing, Nitek issued a statement saying he fired shots that took Dan Glaze’s life and that he was sorry. Nitek will not have the possibility of parole.
