Crime in Janesville is the lowest it’s been in decades.
Crime statistics recently released by the police department show crime decreased by 14-percent from 2020 to 2021, following a nationwide trend. Police say Janesville is averaging just over two-thousand crimes per 100-thousand people a year. That’s the lowest crime rate in 40 years.
