It is suspensions and fines for the players and coaches involved in Sunday’s fight after the Badger game.
The Big Ten yesterday suspended Michigan coach Juwan Howard for the rest of the regular season and fined him 40-thousand-dollars for slapping a UW assistant coach. Wisconsin coach Greg Gard was hit with a 10-thousand-dollar fine. Two Michigan players were suspended for a game and a Wisconsin player was also suspended for one game.
UW-Madison Police say they won’t be seeking charges against Howard for his role in the fight. The Big Ten says the fight was a clear violation of sportsmanship.
