They say love can leave you scarred, but for this weeks Friday Feel Good we turn a scar into the love story itself between a Father and his very special Daughter.
A little girl was born with an extremely rare congenital heart defect and it means surgeries in her life. Because of those surgeries, she also carries the scars of the procedures.
But, she doesn’t carry them alone.
Her dad has recently gotten a tattoo of a zipper on his own heart, to match the scar left after his daughters surgery. The parents say that as she gets older and more aware of her condition, they want to make sure she knows she is supported and loved.
A story that’s sure to leave a mark on our own heart ahead of Valentine’s Day.
