A Chippewa County woman is looking at charges after police say she stole 50-thousand-dollars from a local Subway over the course of the couple years that she worked there.
Prosecutors filed theft charges yesterday against 34-year-old Jessica Guthman from Holcombe. Investigators say she would ring-in items as cash sales, then pocket some of the money. She was caught after the store’s owner noticed a dip in profits. Guthman is looking at 10-years in prison if convicted.
