There are a number of former thieves and scammers included in Governor Tony Evers’ latest round of pardons.
Yesterday, Governor Evers pardoned 25 more people, bringing his total for the past three years to 416 pardons. Every one of the new pardons is for people who committed their crimes years ago, and who have gone on to live crime-free lives. Evers says giving them a pardon will help them move beyond their past and stay on the right path.
