Chandler Halderson will begin his likely life sentence in March.
A judge in Madison yesterday set Halderson’s sentencing hearing for March 17th. A jury last week convicted Halderson of murdering, then butchering his parents back in the summer of 2021. They say he killed them because they found out he was lying about school and work. Halderson is looking at an almost certain life sentence, the question remains however, as to whether the judge will allow him to be eligible for parole at some point.
