Wisconsin is approaching its pre-pandemic unemployment numbers.
The state’s Department of Workforce Development yesterday said the unemployment rate for December fell to two-point-eight percent. Private sector companies added just over five thousand jobs last month, most of those in manufacturing. There are questions though as to just how many people who were unemployed have found new jobs, and how many have stopped looking.
