The new Eau Claire school referendum could be for more than just new buildings.
The city’s school board last night said day-to-day costs are rising faster than increases in state aid, so they may ask voters to make-up the difference. The proposed referendum includes over nine million-dollars worth of updates at Meadowview and Putnam Heights elementary schools.. No one is saying how much the referendum will cost with other additions.
