The Madison area reaches a new record for coronavirus cases.
Public Health Madison and Dane County says its seven-day case rate rose to nearly one-thousand over the weekend, the highest it’s ever been. However, coronavirus hospitalizations are still below their peak from November 2020. Dane County also has the highest coronavirus vaccination rate of any Wisconsin county, nearly 80-percent.
