Wisconsin is on its way to a second sportsbook, this time at the casino in Turtle Lake.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday signed an agreement with the St. Croix Chippewa Indians to allow the tribe to open a new sports betting facility. The next step is a 45-day federal review. The tribe has already started work on the new sportsbook. The deal with the Chippewa comes after Governor Evers signed a similar deal with the Oneida Nation to open a sportsbook at its casino near Green Bay.
