Visit Eau Claire will be using a new grant to bring more people to the city to play Kubb. Eau Claire has become known as a hub for events involving the Swedish lawn game.
The aim of the nearly 40-thousand dollar marketing grant from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism is to bring visitors to Eau Claire in connection with Kubb events. The organization hopes to attract two-thousand visitors to the city, which would generate over a hundred thousand dollars of spending in the area.
