Tuition is going-up for some UW students.
University regents yesterday gave the green light to tuition increases for out-of-state and graduate students at UW-Madison, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stout, and UW-Whitewater. Regents will take the official vote on the plan to raise out-of-state student tuition by 743 dollars today. Right now, out-of-state students pay about 39 thousand-dollars a year for tuition at UW-Madison, compared to the nearly 11 thousand-dollars in tuition for in-state students.
