The Marshfield Police Department had responded to a residence in the area of Popp Avenue from Mann Street to Spencer Street in reference to an individual making homicidal statements.
The individual has been taken into custody without incident and the area is now clear for
normal travel. The Marshfield Police Department would like to thank the Wood County Sherriff’s Department, the Marathon County Sherriff’s Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol for their assistance in this matter.
