Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is signing two bills looking to help sexual assault victims into law.
The governor says SB 71 creates a better procedure for collecting and sending sex assault kits to state labs. He also praised SB 94 which lets victims get updates on the status of the kit. Evers believes the bills increase transparency and accountability.
