Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services confirmed the case on Saturday. DHS says someone at a wedding in Milwaukee County brought the omicron variant back to this country late last month, and spread it to other guests. So far, five cases have been confirmed. Each one of the people who tested positive for the new variant was vaccinated and had their booster, all of them are reporting just minor symptoms.
