Wisconsin’s public health managers say all adults in the state should get a booster shot.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said it is backing the recommendation from the CDC that everyone over 18 get a booster shot. DHS Secretary-designee Karen Timberlake says booster shots are ‘one more layer’ of protection against the coronavirus, and the omicron variant. Wisconsin’s booster shot count is closing in on one million-doses. That’s about one-third of all people who’ve gotten at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
