The sheriff in Racine County wants a county supervisor removed from office for posting a suspect’s bail.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said Supervisor Nick Demske bailed-out a suspect arrested with a high-powered rifle. That suspect, Adrian Jefferson, is accused of stealing several guns from a Racine SWAT team member. The sheriff says Demske has put the community at risk. Demske says the sheriff’s anger is a political stunt.
