Wisconsin notches a home victory with a 35-28 defeat of Nebraska.
The Badgers held on to the lead in the midst of a final push by the Cornhuskers yesterday to secure the win. Graham Mertz hit 12 of 18 pass attempts and one touchdown while Braelon Allen ran for three touchdowns. Next up for Wisconsin is Minnesota this coming Saturday in which a win for Wisconsin would place the Badgers at the top of the Big Ten West Division.
Meanwhile, University of Wisconsin-Madison police arrested a dozen people during the Senior Day football game.
The police activity took place at the game against Nebraska yesterday. Forty-five-people including 28-students were ejected from the stadium. A dozen people were arrested while another dozen, eight of whom are students were handed citations.
