Wisconsin’s largest business group says workers will quit if they’re forced to get a coronavirus shot.
Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce yesterday said a new survey shows nearly 90 percent of businesses say they will lose workers if President Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers is put into place. WMC says workers will either leave, retire, or go find a job at a business with fewer than 100 employees so they don’t have to abide by the mandate. WMC’s Kurt Bauer says the mandate will make Wisconsin’s worker shortage worse. OSHA this week announced that it is holding off on enforcing that mandate.
