The Kyle Rittenhouse jury is ending deliberations for the day.
The 12 member-panel did not reach a verdict in the case and will deliberate for a fourth day on Friday. The deliberations continue while the judge considers a defense motion to dismiss because the prosecution allegedly held video footage of the shooting and brought up previously barred evidence. Rittenhouse is accused of killing two men and injuring a third during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year.
The judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial says no one from cable network MSNBC will be allowed in the courtroom for the rest of the proceedings. Reporter Shaquille Brewster read a statement from an NBC News spokesperson that was issued after the judge made his ruling.
The judge says he confirmed a report today by the Kenosha Police Department that a person working for the cable network was instructed by someone in the New York headquarters to follow the bus the jurors were traveling in from the courthouse. Police believe the person was trying to take photos of the jurors which the judge called a very serious matter.
