The vast majority of people who work at Gundersen Health in La Crosse got vaccinated and will keep their jobs.
But the hospital yesterday said 30 employees have been shown the door for not getting vaccinated. Gundersen said the 30 are the only ones of their nine thousand employees to be fired for not getting their coronavirus shots. Another 92 people resigned. Gundersen ordered its workers to get vaccinated back in August, the hospital is also covered by President Biden’s vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.
