The Chippewa Valley Museum again teams up with Tactical Escape 101 to offer an Escape Room. This time, the game is set in the museum’s Historic 1871 Schlegelmilch House parlors. It’s almost Christmas morning and you realized the elf on the shelf was wrapped in one of the gifts. But which one? Find the elf and his friends before Christmas morning and “escape” in 60 minutes.
Chippewa Valley Museum and Tactical Escape 101 have partnered since 2016 to offer unique escape room experiences. “Our busiest time of year is in between Christmas and New Year’s” says Tactical Escape 101 owner and puzzle designer Jennifer Fonfara. “I’ve always wanted to do a holiday-themed escape room, and the Schlegelmilch House provides the perfect space. It’s exciting to bring a family-friendly escape to downtown Eau Claire during our busiest season.”
“The Schlegelmilch House is beautiful without being decorated for the holidays,” notes Development Manager Rachel Meyer. “The parlors are all ready for the Holidays and you wouldn’t even know those decorations are clues to solve the puzzle.”
Christmas Capers runs Wednesday, Friday – Sunday November 13 – January 22, but is open daily from December 24- January 2 at the Historic Schlegelmilch House located at 517 S. Farwell Ave. Reservations must be made in advance online. CLICK FOR MORE INFO ABOUT THE CV MUSEUM.
