Most of Wisconsin is simply abnormally dry.
The National Weather Service released its latest drought update on Friday. There are some spots in the state dealing with a moderate drought, but most of the state is just dry. Forecasters say things won’t get better anytime soon, they’re expecting below normal temperatures and below normal rains over the next few weeks.
