Prison officials say their annual Halloween sex offender sweep ended with a few arrests.
The Department of Corrections checked-in on sex offenders in several communities over the weekend. Registered sex offenders are banned from participating in trick-or-treating. DOC says it arrested three people in Racine and two more in Milwaukee, though it’s not clear if they were handing-out candy or violating their parole in some other way.
