Animal rescue officials across Wisconsin recommend taking simple common-sense precautions to keep your pets happy and healthy. The candy bowl is for trick-or-treaters and not four-legged friends. Many Halloween treats are toxic to pets including chocolate and sugar free candy. Officials also warn that wearing a costume may cause undue stress for some pets.
