It’s the time of year when the state of Wisconsin is telling drivers to hit the deer.
The state’s Insurance Commissioner on Monday said this is the time of year when car-vs-deer accidents peak. Drivers need to be aware, particularly at dusk and dawn. The Insurance Commissioner says it’s better to hit a deer, than to swerve and possibly hit a tree or another car.
