They are looking to start a new Crime Stoppers chapter in Chippewa County.
The county’s Rose Baier says they want to have a way for people to report crimes and help keep the community safe. The first step is to nominate a Crime Stoppers board, then create the program that pays cash for tips that lead to convictions.
