Wisconsin’s attorney general is on the list of those calling on Congress to open hearings into just how bad social media is for young kids.
A-G Josh Kaul joined AGs from all 50 states yesterday in calling for hearings into the ‘protection and safety of kids and teens using social media.’ The call comes after reports show Facebook and Instagram are harmful to young people’s mental health, particularly teenage girls. Kaul said it’s unacceptable for social media companies to profit by addicting kids to their screens.
