WI Republicans Look to Education Reforms

The Republicans who control Wisconsin’s legislature are turning their eyes toward education reforms this week.

Both the state Assembly and the state Senate are due back on Wednesday and Thursday. The biggest items up for vote are a new civics requirement for public schools and legislation that would ban teaching of race-focused lessons. When it comes to the back and forth political volley, all of the education reforms will likely pass, then almost immediately be vetoed by Governor Evers.
