The Department of Natural Resources is encouraging hunters in Northeast Wisconsin to have their deer tested for chronic wasting disease.
The DNR is targeting 13 counties-Brown, Calumet, Door, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Manitowic, Marinette, Oconto, Outagamie, Waupaca, Washara and Winnebago-for samples. The DNR has an online form so hunters can register their deer and find a sampling location.
