The latest vaccine push in Wisconsin is at Fort McCoy.
The state’s Department of Health Services said it is offering the coronavirus vaccine to the thousands of Afghans who’ve been flown to the fort. More than eight thousand Afghans are currently at Fort McCoy, another five thousand may be on their way.
When it comes to the situation on the ground here, there’s a need for new clothes at Fort McCoy. Team Rubicon members are trying to help get clothes for the thousands of Afghans who are staying at the fort, many of them have just the clothes on their backs.
