Veterans from the Korean and Vietnam Wars are having a chance to visit the nation’s capital and the war memorials honoring those who served and died.
The Old Glory Honor Flight is resuming after the COVID pandemic grounded the program. About 100 veterans were on a flight leaving Appleton International Airport for Washington, DC today. They will return this evening and the public is invited to welcome them home at 7:30 at Appleton International Airport. The parking is free and face coverings are required inside the airport.
