After spending most of the last school year at home, learning virtually, school districts across the area are welcoming students back into the classroom.
With that, district officials are reminding parents, residents, and students alike of back-to-school safety measures to keep kids safe. Drivers are advised to use extra caution in school zones, drop-off and pick-up areas in school parking lots, and other busy areas. Additional reminders include stopping for school buses in both directions when the vehicle’s stop signs are extended and flashing.
