The former Madison East High School teacher who planted hidden cameras in students’ hotel rooms on school trips insists his spying was scientific.
David Kruchten pleaded guilty to two charges yesterday. He was arrested after students found hidden cameras in air fresheners and smoke detectors while on a school trip. Krutchen says his spying was not sexual. He’s facing between six and 20 years in prison when he’s sentenced in October. Krutchen will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
