A heads up if you plan to make a Target run.
The Minneapolis-based retail giant Target is reinstating its face mask mandate for its employees as COVID-19 makes a resurgence across the country.
Target is not requiring masks for its customers although it’s strongly encouraging shoppers to wear masks in areas where transmission is considered substantial or high risk. The new policy takes effect today.
And they aren’t alone in that decision. Masks are back on the menu at McDonald’s. The fast-food giant is the latest to reinstate its mandate for workers and customers, vaccinated or not. Walmart, Home Depot, Kroger and Publix are all making workers mask up again too, while urging shoppers to do the same.
