Several counties in Northeast Wisconsin have reached the orange level of air quality.
The air quality index is unhealthy for Marinette, Oconto, Door, Shawano, Waupaca, Brown, Outagamie, Kewaunee counties today. The orange category means air quality is unhealthy and sensitive groups like those with respiratory or heart issues are advised to stay indoors. Smoke from the wildfires in Canada and the western United States is the cause of the unhealthy air.
