Authorities in Shawano County are looking for a hit-and-run driver in a crash that injured a man and killed a pet kangaroo. County deputies answered a call in Waukechon last night about a crash near the intersection of Porter and Valley roads. The pet kangaroo had escaped its home a few days ago. A man spotted the animal near the intersection and tried to get it to come closer. However a woman driving a pickup truck failed to see him or the kangaroo and hit both, injuring the man and killing the kangaroo.
