First Lady Jill Biden is a witness as the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team claims its first Olympic victory.
Biden was in the stands as Team USA defeated New Zealand 6-1. Former Wisconsin Badger Rose Lavelle scored first in minute nine. The Americans made a full recovery after a shocking loss to Sweden in their Olympic opener. Next up for Team USA is Australia on Tuesday.
