The Feed My People Food Bank is packing picnic lunches for area residents dealing with food insecurity amid the ongoing pandemic.
Thursday, the local food bank hosted a “Pack-A-Thon” with dozens of volunteers. It was somewhat of a return to normalcy for the group as it’s the first time they’ve hosted a group of volunteers since the onset of the pandemic more than a year ago. A spokesperson for Feed My People says they are just excited to see how many people showed up to help others.
