A crash leaves one man dead.
It happened on Sunday July 4th at approximately 7PM, as a car was traveling west on CTH B near Hawthorne in Douglas County. Near the intersection of CTH E, the 25 year-old male driver lost control and the vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. During the course of the crash the driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
