Young drivers in Wisconsin are going to have to prove they can drive in order to get their driver’s license.
Lawmakers in Madison this week quietly reinstated the state’s driving test. Wis-DOT eliminated the driving portion of the test during the coronavirus outbreak and was asking to make the change permanent. Lawmakers eliminated Wis-DOT’s waiver and ordered that the tests resume. It’s not clear just when teens will start taking the driving test again.
