A body recently recovered from the Mississippi River has been identified. We now know that it was 63 year old David G. Lacher from Winona, MN. No foul play is suspected.
It was on Friday, June 25, 2021 at about 10:30AM the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body in the Mississippi River near Aghaming Park in the Town of Buffalo directly across the river from Winona, MN.
Emergency crews from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Winona Fire Department and Winona County Sheriff’s Office were first to respond.
