An early winter storm is responsible for interfering with post-Thanksgiving travel. Heavy snow hit Rock and Green counties yesterday and spread to parts of northern Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. Heavy, blowing snow created poor road conditions and caused flights to be cancelled at Dane County Regional Airportin Madison.
