On Friday, June 18th, the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office took report of a one vehicle rollover in the Township of Mondovi on County Road A near the intersection of County Road TT.
Upon the arrival of Emergency Services, a tan in color 2003 GMC Yukon XL sports utility vehicle was located in the yard of W1143 County Road A with a large amount of debris scattered around it, The operator, and lone occupant of the vehicle, Brandon Louis Behlke, age 29 of Chippewa Falls, was located sitting outside of the vehicle. Brandon informed Law Enforcement that he swerved to avoid striking a tire that was in the middle of the roadway, which made him lose control of his vehicle.
Law Enforcement checked the roadway and no such tire was located. Brandon was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (3rd offense) and transported via ambulance to Mayo of Eau Claire with suspected minor injuries.
