We are getting a better idea about the fire in Fort Atkinson last week that touched off an Amber Alert.
Prosecutors yesterday filed homicide and arson charges against 36-year-old Elizabeth Durkee. The charges suggest that Durkee killed her 72-year-old grandmother, then set her house on fire. Police say Durkee killed her grandma because she didn’t want to live any longer. Durkee is also accused of taking-off with her two-year-old daughter. Durkee is being held on a million-dollars bond.
