It’s not the big fireworks display, but Wausau is taking a step back toward normal for the Fourth of July.
The city yesterday announced plans for a concert on the city’s square. Wausau canceled its fireworks celebration at Marathon Park, planners said there wasn’t enough time to put together a show. The concert on the 4th will feature the band Almost Normal, and will run from 6 p.m. til 8 p.m.
