Police in Rice Lake want to know how long a man was dead in his living room, and why his wife never said anything about it.
Officers found the 52-year-old man on Monday. They say he’d been dead for a while, and was in the ‘later stages’ of decomposition. His wife, who police say was very drunk but alive, was in the living room with him. She told police he was simply sleeping. Investigators are waiting for an autopsy to see just how the man died. Barron County’s health department is checking-in on the wife.
