Smaller communities across Wisconsin can now apply for their share of the state’s coronavirus stimulus.
The state’s Department of Revenue yesterday said communities with fewer than 50 thousand people have until next Friday to apply for their share of the American Rescue Plan. There’s no word on just how much is available. The money is earmarked for coronavirus relief, road and sewer work, pay increases for essential workers, or to make-up for any money the smaller communities have lost over the past year.
